I was born and raised in Greenville, SC. I am the middle of three children: an older sister and younger brother. My father was born and raised in a small town called Orsara di Puglia (Italy), and my mother was born and raised in Bello - a small town outside Medellin (Colombia, South America). I lost my father to cancer during the holiday season in 1992. My mother never remarried, and kept strong as she raised us. We were 17, 14, and 11 years old. I went on to study at Clemson University where I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Animal and Veterinary Science. It was there that I met my future husband. We both graduated in 2003. Shortly after graduation, we moved to the Washington D.C. area where we both worked in the corporate industry. In November of 2005, we both transferred to our companies' offices located in the suburbs of Chicago, where we still reside today. I started taking acting classes at Act One Studio in Chicago in June of 2007. I landed my first stage role as an ensemble member of the play, Grease, in July of that year, then worked as an Extra in the motion picture, Wanted, in August. After that, I have continued to immerse myself in acting classes, theatrical productions, and student and independent films. I left the corporate industry in July of 2008 and have been working as a full time actress ever since. |
